Police campaign
Great efforts by local police are paying off. So too are our campaigns to support them. Theres more to do, but we should celebrate good news. Look at the successes
So whats the bad news? Put simply, crime and anti-social behaviour havent gone away far from it. Despite successes, crime in the Borough rose last year. I am still convinced we need more police in Kingston - to provide the level of protection people want and rightly expect. When I spoke about police in Commons debates last year, I urged Jack Straw to back forces like Kingstons, with extra officers and cash. This police campaign will continue till we win. |
