The Queen visits Kingston

The Queen visited the Royal Borough on Tuesday 25th June.

She was invited by the Vicar of Kingston to unveil a carved stone commemorating the 1100th Anniversary of the Coronation of Edward the Elder.

The ceremony took place very close to where the original coronation happened.
