Local MP Does Supermarket Sweep!

31.07.06

Edward Davey, Liberal Democrat MP for Kingston and Surbiton, will be at a local supermarket this August to allow people to come and chat to him about their concerns.

From 10:00-12:00 Saturday, 5th August, Edward Davey will hold an advice surgery outside Marks & Spencer at 67-73 The Broadway, Tolworth. He hopes this will encourage even more of his constituents to come to him with any problems he can help with.

Commenting, Edward Davey said,

“It’s vital that Kingston and Surbiton feel they have an accessible MP whom they can approach for help and advice.

“I already hold two advice sessions a week around the constituency, but a supermarket surgery gives me the chance to go to my constituents, rather than the other way round.

“Come by, do some shopping, and come over to chat about the issues you care about with me.

“Of course, if you can’t make it to the Supermarket Surgery on Saturday, I’ll continue to hold my regular advice surgeries at my office on Berrylands Road.”
