A £600 Income Tax cut - making taxes fairer

From April, the Lib Dems will have cut many peoples Income Tax bills by £600-a-year.

We want this to become £700-a-year in this March’s Budget.

The Liberal Democrats believe that no one should pay Income Tax on the first £10,000 they earn. By joining the tens of thousands of people who have already backed our Fairer Tax campaign you will be helping us to deliver a fairer society in March’s Budget.

With your support we will:
  • Increase our Income Tax cut for 24 million, low and middle income earners to £700-a-year.
  • Tackle injustice in the tax system by further clamping down on tax avoidance and closing tax loop holes.
  • Support small businesses to ensure that they can grow and help to build a stronger economy.
You can show your support by signing the Lib Dems petition to raise the income tax threshold to £10,000 and really make a fairer tax system.
